Low dose atropine used daily at night, one drop per eye, will help to slow down myopia in young children. This option is great for kids who may not be ready for contacts or have a prescription that is not treatable with CRT lenses. Near vision blur, photosensitivity, or headaches are some of the side effects of atropine, hence the low dose that is used for myopia control.
