​Eye Associates recommends daily disposable contact lenses for the convenience and health of your eyes to decrease the risk of CL related infections.  Daily disposables allow contact lens wearers the ability to simply throw away each day's pair of contacts before bed, and enjoy the benefits and comfort of clean, clear, crisp contact lenses the next day.  Bi-Weekly or monthly contact lenses are also an option with the right cleaning regiment. Advanced technology, like silicone hydrogels, have made it easier than ever for patients to feel comfortable wearing soft lenses.  There are also transition contact lenses for those avid outdoor sports athletes. 
Astigmatism of all different powers can also be corrected with the right pair of contacts unlike what the myth states.  There are more options available now than ever before.  Patients having trouble with near vision also have options.  Multifocal contact lenses offer vision correction at both near and far distances.
